Hoopla Service Update

Beginning May 1, hoopla checkouts will be limited to 3 per month for IPDPL cardholders.  This small change helps ensure we can continue offering hoopla to our community.  You’ll still have access to the full catalog, plus a wide range of other digital resources, free with your library card.  For complete details, please visit the Library News page.

Summer Reading Activities

Summer Reading Activities are "extras" - programs, presentations, and special events hosted by the library - designed to complement the reading goals of our annual summer reading challenges.  Participating in these special programs earns additional badges in Beanstack and additional tickets for the ticket drawing prizes!

For Secret Code Word activities, be sure to look for the sign with the secret code word or ask a library staff member during the program!

Meet Gordon!

Gordon is our Summer Reading Activity mascot!  Any time you see Gordon on something advertising a Level Up at Your Library event or program, it means that event will give you additional badges and tickets!

Put that old shirt to new use!

Earn tickets and learn a new skill during this fun-filled, no-sew t-shirt tote bag workshop!  Learn how to transform ordinary t-shirts into stylish and eco-friendly tote bags without the need for any sewing. Through simple techniques like cutting and knotting, you can unleash your imagination, get hands-on, express your creativity, and learn about upcycling in a playful and engaging way.  If you have an old t-shirt you would like to turn into a tote bag, bring it with you!  Shirts will be provided for anyone without one.

Join us for crafting, laughter, and sustainable fun!

Participants will be using sharp sewing scissors to complete their tote bags.  Children under 10 should have adult supervision or assistance during the workshop.

Attend this workshop to earn your "It's a Brand New Bag" badge!
