Monetary Donations
Monetary gifts are a great way to show your support for the library. Donations of funds are always welcome and may range from simple cash gifts to endowments and bequests. Gifts of all sizes are welcomed and acknowledged. Donations to the library are generally tax-deductible, to the extent allowed by law. Please contact the director for more information about donating through a 501(c)(3) if your donation requires one.
Tributes and Memorials
The Illinois Prairie District Public Library is always honored to accept memorial donations from family and friends in memory of someone whose life was especially enriched by the library’s services or staff. We gratefully accept gifts given in memory of a special honoree or a loved one.
Donations of Books and Other Materials
Donations of books and other materials help to broaden our collections, meet the demand for multiple copies of heavily-used titles, and replace lost or damaged copies. We happily accept fiction and non-fiction books, and DVDs published or released in the current year.*
