A Women's History Month Special!
Watch this award-winning documentary from the comfort of your home!
Discover the untold story of the 9to5 movement, a groundbreaking fight for workplace equity and fair wages that began in the early 1970s. What started with a group of Boston secretaries taking a stand against harassment, discrimination, and unfair treatment grew into a nationwide movement — one that reshaped the American workplace but has largely faded from history.
This compelling documentary features firsthand accounts from 9to5’s founders and explores how their fight for justice inspired the hit song and beloved film 9 to 5, starring Jane Fonda, Dolly Parton, and Lily Tomlin. Directed by Julia Reichert, an Academy Award- and Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker and activist, this film sheds light on a pivotal but often overlooked chapter of twentieth-century U.S. history.
