IPDPL digital programming includes an assortment of fun online quizzes, games, brain teasers, and more, along with links to our book clubs and some of our other favorite places all around the web. We invite you to take a look around and have some fun!
Escape Rooms
Everyone loves a good escape room, but going to an escape room may not always fit into your schedule. Luckily, IPDPL is developing new digital escape rooms that can be enjoyed at any time, from wherever you are at the moment!
Web Adventures
Similar to Escape Rooms, web adventures are more “explore and learn” rather than “figure it out.” But, just because there is learning involved doesn’t mean they are not fun! For a fun, digital escape room feel without the pressure, give one of our web adventures a try!
Norbert’s Census Adventure – Norbert the bearded dragon, IPDPL’s library pet, is trying to complete the census, but he doesn’t quite know the answers to all the questions. Help him complete his census information in time to be counted!
More Fun Stuff
There are all kinds of fun things to find online. Below are a variety of fun links, from visual riddle quizzes to some of our favorite online destinations.
Book Clubs
IPDPL hosts two different book clubs – the Book Buzz Book Club, which meets at the Germantown Hills branch, and the Spring Bay Bookies Book Club, which meets at the Spring Bay branch. Each group reads different books, so avid readers are welcome to join either one or both!
The Book Buzz Book Club meets monthly on Tuesday afternoons. Book Buzz books tend to be topical best-sellers or edgy books that focus on important issues. The Spring Bay Bookies meet on Monday evenings. The Bookies read books chosen by the monthly discussion leader, and encompass a wide variety of genres. Some books are old favorites, others are new releases, and all the titles are engaging and approachable. Each club has their own Book Clubz website with information regarding current and past books, discussion questions, and more.
