Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading Program at Illinois Prairie District Library

School will soon be out for the summer, which means there will be plenty of free time for reading for pleasure.  Join us for some fun at the Illinois Prairie District Public Library!  Our theme this summer is “Reading by Design”

The Summer Reading Program is simple:  You read books and earn prizes!  Program registration begins on June 5th and you have until July 15th to finish the program, collect your prizes, qualify for the ending pool party, and gift card drawing.  Just stop by any of the six branches at Benson, Germantown Hills, Metamora, Roanoke, Spring Bay, or Washburn to sign up for the free program.

This year there will be three separate programs for different age groups:  3 years old to first grade, second to fifth grade and young adults.  For more details, call 367-4594 the Metamora District Library headquarters.
